Privacy policyVersion of 2026-11-02. This policy explains which personal data the KickStore platform (kickstore.amiga-evolution.com: website, repository, developer area, directory, report form) and the KickStore software process, why, for how long and what rights you have. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where they apply, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In short- No tracking, no advertising, no analytics services, no social media plugins, no third-party CAPTCHA.
- Users of KickStorm OS need no account; KickStore sends no personal data apart from what every internet connection reveals (IP address).
- Developers give us their name, email and phone number. These are never published and never sold.
- The data is kept on our server in Switzerland.

3. KickStore on your computerWhen KickStore or KickStoreCheck loads the catalogs, icons or a program, the server sees your IP address and the program version and processor family ("KickStore/<version> (KickStorm OS; aarch64)") - that is part of the server log above. KickStore sends nothing else: no device ID, no list of installed programs, no usage data. Settings, installed programs and receipts stay on your computer. 4. CookiesWe only use cookies that are technically necessary; they contain no personal profile and are not used for tracking, so no consent banner is needed: - KICKSTOREDEV, KICKSTOREVZ, KICKSTOREME, KICKSTOREADMIN: session of the developer area, the directory, the report form and the administration (protection against forged forms, sign-in, security check). They end with the browser session or after two hours.
- kickstore_lang: the language you chose (English or German), for one year.
5. Security check (CAPTCHA)Our forms use a picture CAPTCHA that is generated on our own server, plus invisible checks against bots. No data goes to Google or any other provider. 6. Recipients- METANET AG, Zürich, Schweiz hosts the server and sends our mails (processor, in Switzerland).
- Notifications to the operator (new developer accounts with their details, reports) go to a mailbox of the operator.
- Nobody else gets your data. It is not sold and not used for advertising.
- The legal details of developers may be passed on to authorities, courts or injured parties only if a program causes serious harm or infringes rights and only as far as the law allows or requires (developer terms, section 5).
- Published programs and the name of their developer are public by nature - in the store on every machine.
7. Transfer abroadThe data is processed in Switzerland. Switzerland is recognised by the EU as a country with an adequate level of data protection, and so does the UK. We do not transfer data to other countries. 8. Your rights- Access: what we store about you.
- Correction of wrong data.
- Deletion - developers can delete their account themselves in the developer area; legal details are then kept for 3 years only for possible legal claims.
- Restriction and objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Data portability for data you gave us.
- Complaint to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch), in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk), in the EU the authority of your country.
To exercise your rights, write to info@amiga-evolution.com. We answer within 30 days. 9. No automated decisionsWe make no decisions based solely on automated processing and create no profiles. Approving developer accounts is always done by a person. 10. SecurityAll connections to the website, the developer area and the administration are encrypted (HTTPS). Data files are not accessible from the web; sign-in links and counters are stored only as hashes; backups are kept outside the website. 11. ChangesWe adapt this policy when the service or the law changes. The current version is always on this page.
