Terms of use and developer termsVersion of 2026-10-19. Operator of the KickStore platform (website, repository kickstore.amiga-evolution.com/repo, developer area, directory): Jens Mühlenberg, see the imprint. In short- KickStore is a platform. The programs in it are written and published by independent developers.
- The developers are responsible for their programs - their content, function, rights and licences. The platform is not.
- What KickStore does: it checks the identity of every developer before approving the account, and the operator checks every upload by hand before releasing it. There is no automatic virus check. That lowers the risk, but is no guarantee.
- Use the programs at your own risk and keep backups.

1. Role of the platformKickStore provides the technical infrastructure through which developers distribute their programs to users of KickStorm OS. The operator does not write, sell or edit these programs and does not adopt their content as its own. A contract about a program, if any, exists only between the user and its developer. 2. What the platform checks- Developer check: developers register with their real name and phone number and accept these terms. The operator checks the details for plausibility before approving the account and may call the given phone number to verify the identity.
- Uploads: the operator looks at every upload - new packages and new versions - by hand before releasing it. Nothing is published automatically. This is no complete review of the code; it cannot detect every harmful program, errors or unwanted behaviour.
- No automatic virus check: there is none for the programs offered through KickStore.
- Reports and withdrawal: users can report problems (report form). The operator can withdraw versions at any time; machines that installed them are warned.
3. LiabilityThe programs are provided by their developers "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the operator accepts no liability for programs distributed through the platform, in particular not for their content, freedom from errors or malware, fitness for a purpose, data loss or damage to hardware or software. Liability of the operator for intent and gross negligence and any liability that cannot be excluded by law remain unaffected. The service is free; there is no claim to availability. 4. Duties of developers- Your legal details (name, phone) are true and complete, and you keep them up to date. Your phone number is correct and you can be reached on it: the operator may call you to check your identity.
- You only publish programs that you wrote or may distribute, and you comply with their licences and the rights of third parties.
- Your programs contain no malware, no hidden functions and nothing illegal, and they do not damage the systems of users.
- You are solely responsible for your programs, their content and their effects - the platform is not.
- You indemnify the operator against claims of third parties that arise from your programs or from a breach of these terms, including reasonable costs of legal defence.
- You keep your mailbox safe, since you sign in with links by mail; uploads made with your account are attributed to you.
- On request of the operator - for example after a report, a suspicion or an incident - you prove your identity within 14 days (e.g. with an official ID document, in a way agreed with the operator). If you do not, the operator may block your account and withdraw your packages. The operator does not keep copies of ID documents; it only notes that and when the check took place.
- You answer reports about your programs and withdraw faulty versions.
5. Disclosure of developer detailsThe legal details of developers are not published. If a program causes serious harm or infringes rights, the operator may pass them on to authorities, courts and injured parties as far as the law allows or requires, so that claims can be pursued against the responsible developer. 6. Rights of the operatorThe operator may refuse or block accounts, withdraw or remove versions and packages and change these terms at any time, especially to protect users. When the developer terms change, developers must accept the new version before their next upload. 7. LawSwiss law applies. Mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence remains unaffected. Questions: info@amiga-evolution.com. info@amiga-evolution.com
